Cookie Notice
Herd CMS sets one cookie, and it is the one that keeps you signed in. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, and no third-party tracker — which is also why you never see a consent banner here.

What we set

This is a strictly necessary cookie: the application cannot keep you signed in without it. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the EU ePrivacy rules or the UK PECR, and they are not tracking under US state privacy laws — so we do not show a consent banner. We do not use the cookie to build a profile of you or to follow you across other sites.
What we do not set
- No analytics or product-measurement cookies.
- No advertising, retargeting or conversion cookies.
- No social media pixels or share-button trackers.
- No cross-site or third-party tracking of any kind.
Our hosting and database providers do keep standard server logs — see technical log data in the Privacy Policy. That is server-side logging, not a cookie, and it is not used to track you.
Local storage
Your browser may hold small amounts of data locally so the interface behaves sensibly between visits — for example a remembered view or a draft that has not been saved yet. This stays in your browser, is never sent to us as a tracking signal, and is cleared when you clear your browser data.
Third-party pages
When you connect LinkedIn you are sent to LinkedIn’s own consent screen. LinkedIn sets its own cookies there under its own cookie policy. We have no control over them and cannot read them.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, Herd CMS will not be able to sign you in — that is the only consequence, because it is the only cookie we set.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before setting it. Questions: info@getherd.io.
